１１歳までブラジル、サンパウロで育つ（サッカー大好き）。帰国後、インターナショナルスクールへ通い、アメリカへ留学。ＣＳＵＦにて言語学を学ぶ。
留学中、自然に目覚め毎年国立公園のシーズンパスを購入、国立公園に通う。お気に入りは『ヨセミテ』、『セコイア』、『モニュメントバレー』、『ブライスキャニオン』等々。
２００１年、四国にて『お遍路』を経験。日本が好きになる。八十八カ所を三十六日間で回った健脚の持ち主。
２００３年、四月より屋久島へ移住。この年の７月７日に入籍。
(She spent her childhood in Saopaulo, Brazil. Love soccer very much. After she came back to Japan, went to the international junior high school, and studied in the U.S.A. . Learned linguisitics at CSUF. She opened her eyes to the nature, and visited to the national park with the season pass every year. Her favorite national parks are "Yosemite", "Sequoia", "Monument Valley", "Bryce Canyon"etc.) Got married on 7-7-2003.
